Why Mobile?
Two of our four objectives center around you being able to easily walk up to a machine and engage. Mobile Bytes believes that we need easy access to this technology in a location convenient to you. Hence Mobile Bytes intends to bring these benfits to you in a safe, easily accessible manner.
Our history
Mobile Bytes has been in existence since August 2020. The idea for the organization was spurred from the observance of the impact technology can have on one person. In a growing digital world, not having access to a computer, tablet, desktop, high-speed internet or even a printer can siginficantly impact your life. We believe that all deserve adqeuate equal access to technology and the education that goes along with it.
Our Objectives
Provide instruction on the use of computers and other handheld devices to persons across generations from underserved and/or underrepresented communities;
Provide facilities, equipment and a trained team for individuals to engage in the education, growth and benefits of access to technology;
Promote the importance of digital literacy and how increased knowledge and experience in technology can create new opportunities;
Sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that promote digital literacy and the development of computer skills.
Encourage educational excellence by providing support to youth in need both local and international.
